Tammy Hoyman, MSW, LISW
Chief Executive Officer
Tammy Hoyman is accountable for the overall administration of Employee & Family Resources® and its mission-based programming. She is also responsible for the vision and the strategic planning of the organization. Tammy joined Employee & Family Resources in December 1996 as an EAP/SAP Assessment Counselor and has served in a variety of management positions since 2001. She moved from her role as President and Chief Operating Officer in July of 2009 to become the organization's first female CEO.Tammy holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work from the University of Iowa and is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW).
Julie L. Spencer, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Julie Spencer is responsible for overseeing financial matters of the organization. She joined Employee & Family Resources in 1989 as an Accounting clerk. She holds a B.A. degree in Accounting and Business Administration/Finance from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa and has successfully completed her CPA exam.
WPS Operations Director
Kathleen leads Employee & Family Resources operations, which includes managing the call center and the network of counseling providers across the country. Before joining EFR in July of 2015, Kathleen owned Thrive Senior Care, a home care service for the elderly. Previously, she worked for CDS Global, Inc. in Des Moines as a Client Director and in other magazine publishing industry positions. Kathleen holds her BA in Psychology and is a Certified Senior Care Manager.
Louise Crall, SPHR
Director of Human Resources and Administrative Services
Louise Crall, SPHR, partners with Employee & Family Resources (EFR) leadership to provide strategic direction in the areas of organizational planning, retention, recruiting, leadership development, compensation, benefits, policies & procedures and workplace compliance for the organization. Prior to joining EFR she worked for The Principal Financial Group in a variety of human resources roles. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in Human Resources and Labor Relations. Louise is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) as designated by the Society for Human Resource Managers.
Clinical Operations Director
Shannon Evers oversees local clinical operations at Employee & Family Resources including integrated counseling/ treatment services, as well as EFR’s walk-in substance abuse assessment program. Shannon joined EFR in 2015 and has spent most of her career working in community mental health. Shannon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker, she continues to provide therapy/counseling services in addition to her leadership role at EFR.
Business Development Director
Ketsie leads the organization’s marketing, communication, and sales efforts. Prior to joining EFR in October of 2014, Ketsie founded Next Pitch Sales Solutions a sales training and coaching business. She has served many leadership roles including Regional Marketing Director at American Equity Insurance, Small Group Sales Manager at Coventry Healthcare, and Director of Sales Training at Principal Financial Group. She also sold and instructed the Dale Carnegie Course in Human Relations. Ketsie holds her BA in Communications with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Iowa and has her Iowa Life & Health Insurance license.
