We spend a large majority of our time at work. Our jobs not only provide us with income, but also help to shape us as we develop both professionally and personally.

Did you know…?

Employees between the ages of 25 and 54, with children, spend an average of 8.9 hours a day working or performing work related activities? Bureau of Labor Statistics

Considering the amount of time the average employee spends at work reinforces the importance of establishing a positive and healthy work environment. People want to work for organizations that are safe, supportive, and foster growth. One way to set your employees up for success is to clearly define workplace expectations by instituting policies that reinforce company values and focus on the employee’s wellness.

The Prevention Team at Employee & Family Resources offers technical assistance and support to businesses who may be interested in creating or updating their current policies, most notably their Drug-Free Workplace policy. Our services are offered in the following counties: Dallas, Jasper, Madison, Mahaska, Polk, and Warren.  Services can include staff trainings on current drug trends, management level Drug-Free Workplace Trainings, and information regarding the best practices to include in a policy.
