Life Happens. We’re Here to Help.

Our focus is on helping people overcome life’s challenges. When employees receive the help they need with struggles in and outside of work, they can better focus on their job and be more productive. Having an EAP is not only healthy for your employees, but also for your business’ bottom line.

Our EAP is at the center of what we do at EFR, and we also help at school and in the community with the following programs.

Student Assistance Program (SAP)

EFR’s SAP assists students, families, and schools in our partner districts. EFR provides services to counsel students dealing with personal and family problems so that they can better focus on their education and future.

Counseling Program

EFR’s Counseling Program provides service to individuals (both youth and adult) and families in a safe and confidential setting. Our masters-level counselors have experience working with people from all backgrounds, and approach all clients with respect, kindness, and dignity.

Substance Abuse Services (SAS)

EFR’s Substance Abuse Services Program provides assessment and referral recommendations for substance use disorders for adult or adolescent clients. If you are concerned about your substance use, or are experiencing issues as a result of your substance use, we are here to help.

Prevention Services

EFR’s Prevention Specialists provide a comprehensive approach to addressing substance abuse and problem gambling. Through information dissemination, education, and community collaboration on a wide variety of topics, EFR’s Prevention team works to create healthier communities.

We are here for you.

Group 45

EFR’s EAP provides counseling, legal/financial consultation, identity theft resolution, life coaching, management consultation, and crisis response. Additionally, services such as workplace mediation, trainings, and leadership coaching are available.

School

EFR fosters an environment in which students can succeed by providing an outlet for students to discuss pressures and struggles related to school and home life.

Community

Individuals and families in the community can access help with mental health and substance abuse problems through EFR’s SAS, SAP, Counseling, and Prevention programs.

Maddox

Student Assistance Program (SAP) & Outpatient Counseling

Maddox*, an elementary-aged student, struggled with anger outbursts, physical aggression, and difficulties with problem-solving. After spending years off-and-on in therapy seeking treatment with various providers only to remark that “none seemed to want to listen,” Maddox’s parents sought SAP services through their district.

Today, Maddox is completing his SAP sessions and moving towards outpatient counseling. He has reduced his anger outbursts and has learned skills to help him successfully navigate challenging days.
