National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA)
NIAAA's vision is to support and promote the best science on alcohol and health for the benefit of all by:

National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA)
NIDA's mission is to lead the Nation in bringing the power of science to bear on drug abuse and addiction.
National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD)
Founded in 1944 by Mrs. Marty Mann, a pioneer in the alcoholism field, the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (NCADD) provides education, information, help, and hope to the public. It advocates prevention, intervention, and treatment through a nationwide network of Affiliates.
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
SAMHSA's vision as an agency of the Federal Government is "A Life in the Community for Everyone."
