Assessment and Referral Services
Do you need a substance abuse assessment due to an OWI or another legal charge? Has your doctor encouraged you to cut down on your drinking? Are you concerned about your drinking or drug use? If so, we can help.
EFR offers private, one-hour assessments by certified substance abuse counselors. Most fees are based on a sliding fee scale and an individual's ability to pay. With your permission and when appropriate, significant others and/or family members are invited to participate in the assessment. All information shared during the assessment is confidential and EFR strictly adheres to Federal and State laws regarding the confidentiality of substance abuse information.
At the end of the assessment appointment, your counselor will discuss referrals to substance abuse treatment and/or other services that would be helpful to you, based on your individual circumstances and needs. These referrals take into account your ability to pay and insurance status as appropriate. Of course, the decision to accept these recommendations is yours alone.
